26-year old point guard Micheal Afuwape (185-PG-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Rivers Royal Hoopers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had the game-high 13 points adding two rebounds and two assists for Rivers H. in his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Stade (#4, 0-6) with 20-point margin 79-59. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Rivers H. maintains the 2nd position in Basketball Africa League . They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Rivers H. will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. Afuwape just recently signed at Rivers H., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Micheal Afuwape averages this season 4.8ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Mahamane Coulibaly (206-2001) of Stade Malien. He is Mali in his first season at Stade. In the last game Coulibaly recorded an impressive 26 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Stade lost that game 67-77 to FUS Rabat (2-4). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Coulibaly is a newcomer at Stade and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.7ppg (#6).

Third place about best performers goes to guard Johnathan Jordan (178-PG-1992, agency: Slash Sports) of Fath US de Rabat (#3). Jordan showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of FUS Rabat, leading his team to a 77-67 win against #4 ranked Stade in a game of the week. The chances of FUS Rabat not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Jordan could try to bring FUS Rabat's a little bit higher in the standings. Jordan has individually a great season in Basketball Africa League. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.3ppg (8th best) and assists with 4.5apg (2nd best).
